WHAT IS WALKING FOOTBALL
Walking football is a slow-paced version of the
beautiful game aimed at the "more mature" person
(with no upper age limit)

INTRODUCTION
Walking football was conceived in 2011 by the Chesterfield FC Community Trust, and is now very popular throughout the whole of Europe. It was introduced to the Algarve a couple of years ago, and there are now various teams and weekly sessions held along the whole width of the Algarve, with the occasional friendly tournament involving teams from both the Algarve and abroad.
Walking football is a minimal-contact sport, and anything other than brisk walking is penalised.
This makes it ideal for the "older" generation, with little risk of injury.
Anyone is welcome to any of the sessions we run; all the information you will need is on the website, or feel free to contact us should you need any further information.
